I'm no guru hehe, but the O'Reilly books are very helpful. I learned from one of their books on JavaScript (katong old book sa XU lib hehe).

Books aren't your only resources, there are blogs, articles, tutorials...and even forums. But I admit na there are some stuff that you can find in books that are very specialized and are not widely or popularly available online, like tips and tricks, secrets etc.

The kind of books would obviously depend sa imong area of interest, like web development, software engineering/development, database systems, programming languages...the list goes on. The more respected and highly credible the author, the better and more reliable the material is.

Hope this helps. Peace out y'all!
