Yes, true. We're using Smartbro here in our office. Before when I first
came here the the speed was unbearable, and have made a plan to switch
to other providers. But since we are still "locked" by contract we
cannot transfer (at least that's what I know). When our connection hit
40kbps as tested in 2wire.com (tabla sa dial-up hahaha) I tried calling
Smart to fix the problem. When they tried to change our connection
configuration we started experiencing fast connection of up to 1.5 mbps.
As we have observed here, the signal goes down on a rainy/cloudy day but
goes way up on a sunny day. I know quite a little about wireless and
networks but at least this is what I experienced.

I guess Smartbro's connection only depends on your location. If you
have a bunch of cellsites near your place then you could always choose
which one to point to. At least in Cebu that's the case.
So far, what I know in CDO, there's not too much positive feedback.
But they giver you a refund if the signal doesn't work in your place.

Because that's a marketing strategy. What is important is you should
know your CIR.

I'm sorry, but I will never subscribe to Smart Bro.
Thanks.
