Hello Tiger, We set aside the testing of the NIC for the moment because it will eat a lot of time for us. We know for a fact that even the latest Linux kernel from RHEL 5.1 is not safe from the multiple bugs of the sky2 driver and we found out from their (RHEL 5.1) kernel that it (sky2 driver) eats a lot of hardware interrupts that causes the system hog. We cannot file a bug to them (Red Hat) because we're not their customer. If anyone from this list is a customer of Red Hat and is using the sky2 driver, I suggest you file a bug to them and request for a backport of the sky2 driver to their Linux kernel package.
