ok.  I don't know those.  do they work by having the linksys
rendezvous outward to a server?  kasi, private IP.

no, i've also worked with other smart bro clients.  they really
do get a private IP only.  it's probably smart trying to save
IP addresses.

well, the linksys would use either the same amount or more power
since it does more (probably wifi access point too).  but the
main sticking point really is the private IP.  that's really what
you get.  it's not the box getting a public IP and hiding you
behind that.  you'd need something like hamachi (where you 
rendezvous at the hamachi server) or openvpn (where the box
on the inside of the private network connects outward to the
outside openvpn server).
