hello, One thing that you should consider when pursuing an "I.T. Career" is that around 60% of the time, you'll be working with people that have egos at par with the size of the milkyway. And, around 30% of the time, you'll be dealing with clients that are completely clueless on what they really want. The remaining 10% is where your 4 years of "Computer Science" will be put into practice. So, if you look closely, the people that are really successful in I.T. are the ones that have the patience to stroke other people's egos and make them feel that they're really smart -AND- the ones that have the patience to sit with clients on a meeting and listen to them talk about things that are utterly out of this world. If you ask me, you don't need a college degree to do that. Really, you don't.
