One thing really is to have a group that will bring together all IT pros and practitioners here in CDO and organize. Not some business-centric organization that only serves the business aspect (like some "umbrella" group I know). And the organization must be able to stand and lobby for an increase in IT salaries here in CDO or else IT talents fly to Manila, Cebu, or abroad. Before you know it, there's brain drain happening.
