Hi Leo,

for platforms that don't support __atomic_*, there's a libatomic
library from GCC, but I have no idea how to turn the native clang
implementation off in such case.

In any case, it's a clang bug/missing-implementation of __atomic
functions, as a backup plan, you can always compile it with gcc
(oh, the heresy :).
