The thing to do, is test if the bug still exists in master/3.2.x, if
it does update the bug accordingly (change the version). If the patch
doesn't apply you can change it from needs signoff to 'Does not
apply'.

I wouldn't close the bug unless I was sure it isn't present in either
master or 3.2.x
