An extract. Saturday, 9 September, 2000: Libya has invited international oil petrochemical industries, the Middle East Economic Survey (MEES) reported on Monday. Libya's drive to attract foreign investment in its refining and petrochemical industries comes after the United Nations suspended sanctions on the country last year.
