Ansar Burney appeals to Iran to stop the stoning to death sentence to a woman: KARACHI: Mr Ansar Burney, Chairman of the human rights organization 'Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International' has appealed to the President of Iran to forgive a 38 years old, reportedly innocent women from Tehran, who was sentence of stoning to death in Iran. Ansar Burney said, an Iranian women (name not disclosed) is to be stoned to death under Iran's Islamic Shariya laws forallegedly murdering her husband. An accomplice, a 24-year-old man,will be hanged for the killing of the woman's 42-year-old husband, who was killed in Karaj, a town close to the capital Tehran. �Men who are stoned to death are buried waist-deep in the ground and if they manage to escape, they can go free, women are buried deeper to stop stones hitting their breasts�, Ansar Burney added. "We are not in favour of criminals but she could be punish in other way which is less cruel and less painful instead of stonning to death to save her from the severe pain of hitting of stones", He further added.
