Israeli Occupation Forces Prevent Palestinian Medical Staff From Entering
El-Atatra Area at North Gaza.
Israeli Occupation Forces prevented yesterday a medical staff, which belong
to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society from entering Al-Atatra area in the
north of Beit Lahia. This medical staff was on his way to offer medical and
treatment services to the citizens of the besieged area, which has been
under siege since the beginning of June.
The inhabitants of the besieged area suffer from shortages in all services
including the restricted movement, which the Israeli Occupation Forces have
imposed upon the people of the area since a week. In spite of coordination
process, which representatives of International Red Cross at Gaza have done
with the Israeli side in order to let the Palestinian medical staff offer
the treatment and medical services to the citizens, the Israeli Occupation
Forces prevented the staff from entering the area and doing their duties.
