From: "Magnus Bernhardsen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Peoples War] EHK: Solidarity with the PFLP Solidarity with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestina (PFLP) Communique by the Communists of Basque Country (EHK) Faced with the murder in cold blood by the Zionist state of Israel of Comrade Abu Ali Mustafa -General Secretary of the POPULAR FRONT FOR THE LIBERATION OF PALESTINE (PFLP)-, Communists of Basque Country (Euskal Herriko Komunistak, EHK), declares to the Basque People: 1.- The PFLP, founded in 1967 as Marxist-Leninist Organization of the Palestinian People, is the most determined patriotic vanguard and the most progressive and revolutionary organization leading the heroic National Liberation struggle of Palestine. 2.- The PFLP is one of the most coveted pieces for zionists, and the zionist terrorism want to defeat it because of the historical merits of this organization: it started organizing armed struggle, it also started creating in the 70s an anti-imperialist and anti-zionist alliance of international organizations (including ETA), they have been great upholders of the Rejection Front in the 70s and the National Salvation Front in the 80s; they are the most resolute opponents of the Oslo Accords and the better organizers of the Intifada. As early as 1973 the zionists tried to kidnap the General Secretary Comrade George Habash, and they have murdered numerous spokesmen, ambassadors and leaders of this organization. The Comrade Abu Ali Mustafa replaced the Comrade George Habash in the General Secretariat in the Sixth National Conference, which convened in April 2000. 3.- This assassination angers not only the Palestinian and Arab Peoples, but also the progressive, anti-imperialist and communists of all the world, including the basques. 4.- We convey our mourning and solidarity message to all the Palestinian People and the PFLP in the certainty of the rightness of the heroic Intifada. We�re sure that it will triumph in face the criminal barbarism represented by Zionism and its masters: the USA and NATO. 5.- We call upon Batasuna, all the patriotic left and all the Basque People to express actively their internationalist solidarity with the right cause of Palestinian People and its Popular Revolt, the Intifada, for the Self-determination, the Independence and the social Progress of this People.
