In his message to Tam Dalyell, copied also to MPs Alice Mahon & Jeremy Corbyn, William Spring says that he "has in mind the 1999 NATO attack on the television station in Bel- grade, the NATO attack on the train @ Gredlica Gorge, on the track to Lescovac, & the many other NATO attacks on civilian targets, both in Yugoslavia & Iraq, in the latter case a bombing campaign which has continued uninterruptedly since the Gulf War, until the week before the disaster in New York." "For Clinton & Blair bombs are fine, as long as they are land- ing somewhere else, not on them. "It is NATO which first broke down international order & NATO has no standing or respect in terms of its own so called democratic constituency. "It was Blair & Clinton who demonstrated & legitimised terrorism as an instrument of state policy. "NATO bombed a European television station because NATO didn't like Londoners getting tv footage of the devastation caused in Belgrade by the NATO bombs. "NATO did this in the full knowledge that there were civilians working in the targeted areas. "Then Blair got up in the House & defended this atrocity, an atrocity which puts him & all the other NATO warmongers on the same level as Adolf Hitler. "The claim that the US & UK oppose terrorism is false. "Both the US & British administrations support Muslim terror- ists when it suits them.....(for example the SAS played a fun- damental role in training the KLA, even as far back as 1998 when the UK was supposedly seeking a peaceful solution to the problems in Yugoslavia.) "The recent dismemberment of Macedonia by NATO's sur- rogate terrorist movement is another indication of how insin- cere the NATO leaders are, who by their befuddled re- sponses to this outrage are leading the rest of us into a world war. "On the orders of the EU's failed electoral reject Commis- sioner Patten we are to have three minutes silence in Europe for the victims of Tuesday's atrocity. "Why has the EU before now not ordered at least a one min- utes silence for the hundreds of Palestinians gunned down by the arch war criminal, the Sabra & Shatilla mass mur- derer, Ariel Sharon? "And we didn't get even a ten second silence for Christian & Slav victims of NATO aggression in Europe: obviously not. "And when did we last hold an EU sponsored three minutes silence for the six thousand children who, according to UN estimates, die every month in Iraq, all because of our illegal sanctions against that country? "Many Arabs don't like the United States. Some of them, ob- viously & understandably, detest the United States & individ- ual Americans. This is not to endorse their hate filled actions, but simply to explain. "If Mr Bush now wants the UK to join with the US in a global crusade against Islamic fundamentalism he should first mend fences with the Slavs, as they now feel about the Americans & British very much as the Arabs do, except they don't commit suicide for political reasons." William Spring has also sent to the MPs a copy of a letter he has received from the MOD, where the MOD refuse to re- lease the names of the RAF pilots & other personnel re- sponsible for the illegal kidnapping of Slobodan Milosevic from Belgrade. "The UK assisted in the illegal abduction of Mr Milosevic from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, in the process trampling upon the Constitution & legal procedures of that country, delivering Mr Milosevic into the hands of torturers, & a corrupt official & pseudo Prosecutor, Carla del Ponte. "Please ask the PM what right has the RAF to behave as a bunch of Barbary Pirates, always doing America's dirty work?" William Spring concludes his letter to the MPs : "couldn't we get some answers on foreign policy from HMG before the world is drawn into a global conflict? If & when such a conflict develops historians will trace the line of responsibility back to March 24th 1999, the day the bombing of Yugoslavia began, in the same way as we now trace the Second World War back to the Japanese attack on Manchuria, 1931. "On March 24th NATO wantonly violated the UN's, & its own Charter, & the international legal order then broke down, & that situation cannot now be recovered.
