The following lines are those that he addressed to our party and our people just before the action. "Hello! I am UGUR B�LB�L. I am a member of the family of the REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE'S LIBERATION PARTY-FRONT and I am proud of it. Today a Great War is taking place in Turkey. On the one front of this war are the imperialists and their collaborators and on the other are the peoples of the world whom are condemned to starvation and poverty. In order to implement the policies of the IMF, the collaborationist government of the state in Turkey carried out an operation in the prisons where revolutionaries were staying on December 19th, 2000. Tens of our friends were murdered and hundreds were tortured. The aim was to concretise the policies of the IMF. That is, to make the people submit. The way to make people submit is to make revolutionaries submit. In order to show their determination and by refusing to retreat against imperialism the revolutionaries have laid their bodies to death. And for 11 months they have been on Death Fast. During this period we have given 64 of our comrades and friends as martyrs. Today, in order to demand a reckoning, I will carry out an action. There is no need to speak much. We are right and we will defend our legitimacy until death. Our aim is to fight against imperialism and to make our world, our country, a place where we can be live decently. In a couple of hours, I will blow in the enemy's brain like a bomb. Because I am very excited I cannot say more. There is no need to give long speeches anyway.
