Date: September 17, 2001 Statementent Nr: 211 NO TO WAR! BREAD AND JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE! The USA declared war and preparing to attack. The bombardment of this or that country by the US is maybe a matter of days. But, this declaration of war is not limited with a country, an individual or within a couple of weeks. President of USA, Bush said on September 16th that "We will show to the rest of the World that we are most powerful nation". He is challenging. OK, but against whom? In the same statement Bush gives the answer for this question too, saying, "Not only those who currently effected the USA, but also those who could effect us in the future and those who assist and accommodate them...." PEOPLE'S OF THE WORLD! THE USA DECLARED A NEW WAR AGAINST ALL OF US The USA says "we declared war against terror". In the literature of the USA the meaning of the "terror" and "supporting the terror" is to oppose the US Empire. It is to refuse the pro-USA World Order. "Those who currently effected the USA and who could effect them in the future" are billions of people who are starved, poor, who are lack of bread, water and justice. They are those who all the exploited and oppressed people of the world. And this is the reality, which shows whom the war was declared against. What we are facing now is the war of the USA against all the oppressed nations. THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD WILL DEBATE THE TRUTH. THIS CANNOT BE PREVENTED! Regardless of their opinion about the action on September 11, the entire world is discussing today these truths except the USA and those who are pro-USA. This debate will get deepen. They are trying to prevent this debate by the demagogy of terror and attacks. This debate is for food and justice. The problem of the peoples of the world is lacking of food and justice. Wherever food and justice are lacking, revolting exists there. THIS WAR HAS NO JUST, LAWFUL AND LEGITIMATE REASON We need to know who and why this war has initiated. The USA wants both to leave the peoples of the world without food and justice and also silence them. The USA wants to make all countries to bow them. This is a war to strengthen the US Empire. By using its economical and political power and making NATO to make the decision of practising Article 5, it wants to legitimise its attack and to affirm the hegemony of its empire. The attack is a clear form of barbarism. It is vulgar, primitive and illegal. We are not talking about our way of legality but their own legality. It is smashing the law order of the system of bourgeoisie, which has been established in hundreds of years. By saying, "we will use these, target these, we will make these non-effective..." a war that was declared against the entire world is on the agenda. This is what we meant by the US Empire. If so, will this war end with a US empire? No! Such a war will bring more grief and this will intensify the enmity more. THE PEOPLES CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT FOOD AND JUSTICE! Take a look at the consequences of the bare reality: Today 1 Billion and 100 Million of people are starving. 800 Million of them are in Asia. In the countries that are forced to be undeveloped, 1 billion and 300 million of people are lacking clean water. Because of the water pollution, 300 million of children die in these countries every year. Because of starvation and malnutrition, EVERY DAY 26,000 PEOPLE die in this world. Two-three folds of people of those who died during the incident, which triggered the USA, are DYING ON DAILY BASIS BECAUSE OF STARVATION! And while all these are happening, the wealth of three USA citizens, the richest men of the world, is equal to the total of the national wealth of 48 countries. In short, billions of people cannot find a piece of bread and a glass of water! And in such a world we outcry: Bread for all human beings! Drinking water for all human beings! And justice! The demand of the peoples of the world is this much simple, clear and tragic. In such a world, it can only be debated why the actions like September 11 do not happen more often, not why they happen. The consequences of condemning the world to such starvation and injustice cannot be anything else. We are 6 billion people. We are the starved, the poor and the miserable. We are those who have no food to consume and no water to drink. We cannot give up demanding food and justice. This is the actuality. We call: NO TO WAR, FOOD AND JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE! WHILE THE PEOPLE ARE STARVED, THEY ARE INVESTING IN TYRANNY! Tyranny accomplices poverty. All those countries, which are forced to be undeveloped, are under rule of the IMF and the World Bank. And with the order of USA-IMF while these countries are limitlessly giving away their resources to imperialist monopolies, no fund is reserved for education, health and earning and sustaining the people but, the biggest share of funding is spared for arms, military and police force. Because, in order to prevent the explosion and revolt of the starved, the unemployed and the poor and to stop the struggle for rights and liberties, it will be necessary to strengthen the TOOLS OF TYRANNY. PEOPLE OF TURKEY! WE ALREADY LIVE THROUGH THIS WAR. We already live through this war since, this government, the servants of USA and IMF, took the decision of increasing the number of our starved and unemployed. They leave us without food and jobs and when we oppose starvation and unemployment by saying �No to IMF!� we face tyranny. Those who oppose the regime are subjected to lawsuit by being accused of being a �terrorist� and �assisting and accommodating terrorism� and thrown into F-type prisons. And the rule in Turkey is celebrating just because they have heard the same words from Bush. They are celebrating because they will exploit more, they will rob more, they will tyrannise more, they will beat the people with truncheons more and they will throw more people into F-type prisons. PEOPLE OF TURKEY! DO NOT LET OUR COUNTRY TO BE USED LIKE A US MILITARY BASE AGAINST THE DESTITUTE PEOPLE! Each corner of our country is full of the US bases. A pro-USA and pro-IMF government rules the country. It is obvious from their celebration following the USA�s declaration of war against the peoples of the world that, they are already happy to assist and accommodate the greatest terrorist of the world, the USA. The USA is targeting Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Yemen and many other countries, which oppose the world order of the USA; the USA will attack these people by also using our land. We cannot allow them to use our country as a military base to attack against our brother and sister countries. This can neither be justified by being Muslim, nor Turkish and nor Kurdish. Because, no matter where their boundaries are and no matter which national or religious beliefs they possess, all the oppressed people of the world are our brothers and sisters. The US imperialism possesses no religion, belief, culture and moral values. Its religion and morality is the US Dollar. Until now it destroyed everywhere for the Dollar. And from now on its only reason to declare war is the Dollar again. FOR BREAD AND JUSTICE; - The debts for the IMF and the World Bank must be wiped off! - The economical, political and military policies of the USA in undeveloped countries must be ended! - Compensations must be paid to all countries, which are damaged because of the policies of the IMF and the World Bank. - NATO must be abolished! - Invading and bombarding countries and dividing the people must be stopped! - All the agreements signed with the USA and Israel must be cancelled! - All the constitutions and anti-democratic laws serving to be able to proceed the policies of the IMF must be cancelled; the conditions of free association and self presentation for the people must be provided! - All those who are imprisoned because of being in opposition must be freed! PEOPLES OF THE WORLD AND TURKEY To oppose this war is to oppose starvation, which turns our world into hell. To oppose this war is to oppose injustice, which they try to condemn the entire world into. To oppose this war is to oppose the US Empire. We must unite and resist against the US Empire and the war, which was declared by the USA against the peoples of the world. The world does not belong to the USA. It belongs to the peoples. Nobody has right to leave the people without BREAD and JUSTICE. FOR BREAD AND JUSTICE, LET US UNITE AND RESIST!
