Warning about the stances of war lords after the attacks in USA, Murat Karayilan, member of PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) Council of Leaders) said "Let's express some matters clearly. The attack in USA was made by 19 people whereas PKK has 10 thousand sacrificial people. If violence is brought to fore, the Kurdish people has to defend itself." Participated by telephone in the "Rews" program on MEDYA TV, Karayilan started its talk by commemorating writer-journalist Musa Anter who is one of the most valuable person of the Kurdish people. Karayilan pointed out that forces such as MHP (Nationalistic Action Party) tries to get profit from the attacks in USA. Karayilan continued to say the following: "To annihilate a people which is at the same time denied, to attack against it is the biggest terrorism. The Turkish state has terrorized people in Kurdistan for years. Today we commemorate Musa Anter, who killed him? Thousands of Kurds were executed like him, thousands of villages were burnt. The Kurdish people defended itself against this terrorism and a war took place."
