In this regard Rodong Sinmun today in a signed commentary says: The Japanese reactionaries' projected dispatch of the SDF overseas and their step to significantly ease the norms for the use of weapons presuppose military operations overseas. It is intended to hurl the SDF into shambles of war and realize their dream of "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" which they failed to do in the past. ��� By realizing this dream they seek to put other Asian countries under their control, enslave the peoples and exercise their unlimited privilege as a colonial ruler. ��� The danger of the Japanese militarist aggression is looming as a real one. ��� The DPRK is well aware that it is made the primary target of the Japanese reactionaries' overseas aggression. They are going mad in their moves for overseas invasion under the pretext of "threat from North Korea." ��� They are running wild to swallow up the DPRK, bereft of reason. This may render its fight against them unavoidable. ��� The army and people of the DPRK are renewing their determination not to miss the chance to take a thousand-fold revenge upon the Japanese militarists if they dare encroach upon its sovereignty. ��� The Japanese reactionaries are well advised to stop running wild, deeply mindful of the disastrous consequences to be entailed by their re-invasion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Seminars on greatness of WPK ��� Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Seminars were held by the Nigerian group for the study of the Juche philosophy and the Juche idea study society of India on Sept. 25 and 26 on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 56th anniversary of the WPK. The seminars heard speeches on the greatness of the WPK. ��� Vishwanath, director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, at the seminar in India said: ��� Kim Jong Il has led the Korean people to, victory with his experienced and seasoned leadership and developed Korea into a powerful socialist state. ��� The glorious history of the WPK spanning more than a half century convinces me that a powerful socialist nation will surely be built in Korea in the near future. ��� Rosy is the future of the Korean people under the wise leadership of the great leader and the invincible party. ��� The chairman of the Nigerian group for the study of the Juche philosophy said at the seminar that the WPK, a powerful political force wisely leading all fields of the country, emerged victorious with no vicissitudes by setting forth and implementing the line and policies in conformity with the specific conditions of the country and the interests of the people. ��� All the achievements of the WPK are the result of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il and socialism of Korea is being firmly defended because the WPK and all the people are united as firm as a rock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DPRK delegate's speech at 56th session of UN General Assembly ��� Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- The DPRK delegate made a speech during the debate on the report of the UN secretary general on the work of the UN at the 56th session of the UN General Assembly on Sept. 26. The DPRK delegate shared the same view with the UN secretary general that it is the UN principal task to ensure peace and security of all countries in the new century. ��� The United Nations should pay a special attention to stopping big countries from threatening the sovereignty of small and weak countries and abusing the dispute issues for dominationist purpose, he said, and continued: ��� Nuclear disarmament is needed for the human cause of peace. ��� Nuclear states should take practical measures including nuclear disarmament timetable so as to create trust for universal and complete disarmament. ��� In order to overcome the challenges facing the international community the application of double standards should be rejected and justice and impartiality should be ensured in UN activities. ��� In international relations the strong-arm action of big countries is overlooked, but the self-defence measures of small countries become the object of sanction and pressure. ��� In order to remove such partiality and double standards, it is imperative to enhance the leading role of the united nations, the function and role of the general assembly in particular. ��� The general assembly, the supreme organ of the united nations, should finally decide on the matters concerning international peace and security to prevent other bodies from adopting resolutions contrary to the will of UN member nations. ��� It is necessary to take a measure for the special committee on the charters of the united nations to discuss this problem and submit a relevant recommendation to the general assembly. ��� The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) should be reformed to democratize the UN activities. ��� The reform of the UNSC makes it necessary to decide on the issue of expanding non-permanent member nations, comparatively easy to be agreed, and to make a breakthrough. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kangso mineral water ��� Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- A new system has been established to supply Kangso mineral water to different public health establishments and workers in the domain of power industry in Pyongyang. The Korean nation's movement for national reunification is developing on a new high stage, but many difficulties and obstacles still remain in the way of reunification, the article says, and goes on: ��� The U.S. imperialist aggression troops present in South Korea are the very one who has divided the Korean nation and the main obstacle which blocks the way of peace and reunification in Korea. ��� Korea was divided into the north and the south by the U.S. imperialist aggression troops' occupation of South Korea after its liberation and it remains divided with their presence in South Korea. ��� Their presence is a product of the U.S. criminal Korea policy. ��� The U.S. imperialists have kept their troops stationed in South Korea to perpetuate the division of the country and swallow Korea and north-east Asia with South Korea as their springboard. ��� This is why the U.S. has worked hard to justify its military occupation under the pretext of "threat from the north." ��� The U.S. is now making a fuss about the "threat" from the conventional armed forces in the DPRK after vociferating about the "missile threat from North Korea" in a bid to lead the situation to an extreme tension. ��� It is because the U.S. feels deeply alarmed for losing the pretext of keeping its troops in South Korea if the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration is implemented, peace settles on the Korean peninsula and Korea is reunified. ��� Our nation should rise up as one in the struggle to resolutely check and frustrate such anti-reunification moves of the U.S. imperialists against the Korean nation and force their aggressor troops out of South Korea. ��� All the fellow countrymen should mercilessly punish the traitors to the nation and anti-reunification elements who do harm to the nation with the backing of the outside forces and obstruct national reconciliation, unity and reunification. Dr. Kim Myong Je, researcher at the communications research institute under the ministry of post and telecommunications, has made a great contribution to updating post and telecommunications over the last 45 years. ��� He set up a wired broadcasting network by use of magnetic material to suit the specific conditions of the country. And he succeeded in producing filter to ensure communications by current telegraphy. As a result, an industrial phone system was established throughout the country and a high capacity electronic automatic phone switchboard was manufactured to modernize post and telecommunications. ��� He wrote about 20 kinds of textbooks and reference books including "electronic material science," "electronic switchboard," "optical fiber communications" and hundreds of valuable theses. Under his guidance scores of masters of science have been produced. ��� Choe Kyong Ho, room chief of the Pyongyang Program Center, became doctor of computer science in his thirties. ��� He is an author of scores of theses helpful to the development of information technology. He has played a big role in developing and disseminating programs in the country. ��� Not a few graduates from the university have greatly contributed to keeping production going at a high rate and effecting technological reconstruction at the October 5 Automation Instrument Factory, the Sangwon Cement Complex, the Rakwon Machine Complex, etc. ��� At the October 5 Automation Instrument Factory graduates from the university have performed a great part in designing, testing and manufacturing big capacity rectifiers and electrotome needed for the country's railway electrification, rectifiers of tens of thousands of ampere, various kinds of control boards, exciting instruments and electrical operation instruments needed at chemical factories and power plants and other ordered equipment and products of hundreds of types and thousands of sizes. ��� Graduates from the university are performing key roles in different fields from coal and ore mines and other production units and latest propiciar la discusion y solucion equitativas de los importantes problemas de la politica internacional los paises con un propio criterio, juicio y derecho a pronunciar y otros en vias de desarrollo deben ocupar la posicion del miembro permanente. ��� nadie puede apoyar el japon que desarrolla la humillante diplomacia de peticion sin criterio ni independencia. ��� el japon tiene las cosas a cumplir ahora mismo antes de sonar con el puesto del pais miembro permanente del consejo de seguridad de la onu. hay orden de prioridades en todas las cosas. ante todo las autoridades japonesas deben
