Friendly relationship between kindergartens of DPRK and China established
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- A ceremony for establishing friendly
relationship between the Pyongyang Okryu Kindergarten no. 2 and the Yanji
City June 1 Kindergarten of China was held at the Pyongyang Okryu
Kindergarten no. 2 yesterday. Present at the ceremony were members of the
c.c., the DPRK-China Friendship Association, officials concerned and its
employees.
��� Present there were members of the good-will delegation of the Yanji
city, China, People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries led
by its vice-president Cui Yongjun, employees of the Yanji City June 1
Kindergarten and a staff member of the Chinese embassy here.
��� At the ceremony speeches on establishing the friendly relationship were
made.
��� Then the participants looked round the kindergarten and enjoyed an art
performance given by children.

Indian group for study of self-reliance formed
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The Indian group for study of
self-reliance was inaugurated with due ceremony in New Delhi on Oct. 3.
Vishwanath, director general of the International Institute of the Juche
Idea, said at the ceremony that the Juche idea was so creditably applied to
reality that the DPRK has turned into a country strong in independence in
the international arena and the man-centered social system has been
established in the DPRK for the first time in history.
��� The editor of the newspaper Krishna Ebota was elected chairman of the
group.
��� A letter to leader Kim Jong Il was adopted at the ceremony.

Invincible WPK
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The Korean people are now celebrating
the 56th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers' Party of Korea
(October 10, 1945), their guiding force. On this day the Korean people look
back with deep emotion upon the proud road of struggle covered by the party.
��� 56 years have passed since the WPK proclaimed its foundation but it is
75 years since the formation of the down-with-imperialism union at which the
party began to take its root.
��� The WPK has developed into a seasoned veteran party in the arduous
revolutionary struggle and construction work and the fierce struggle against
the imperialists and all enemies. It has also grown to be an invincible
revolutionary party which enjoys absolute support and trust from the people.
��� The party has opened up a new way for the popular masses' cause of
independence, the socialist cause, and made brilliant victories and
tremendous changes in this course, thus performing immortal feats to be
recorded in the history forever.
��� The party has been able to create an example of revolutionary party
building and attain the great successes in the revolution and construction
because it has become a party of the leader and formed the single-hearted
unity with the popular masses.
��� The historic cause of developing the WPK into the eternal party of
President Kim Il Sung has been successfully realized by leader Kim Jong Il.
So, it can preserve its character as the revolutionary party of Juche type
forever.
��� Kim Jong Il has been highly praised and respected by the people as an
outstanding leader of the WPK and the revolution from his early years.
��� Nearly 40 years of his revolutionary activities are the immortal history

Koizumi's projected junket to S. Korea protested
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The headquarters of the people's
movement for expelling excess consumption, the Association of Bereaved
Families of Pacific War Victims, the Measure Council for the Issue of
Volunteers and other citizens' organizations in South Korea agreed to
conduct a signature campaign against the Japanese prime minister's projected
junket to South Korea, according to Seoul-based MBC. The organizations said
that the Japanese prime minister should apologize and compensate before
anything else for his approval of the distorted history textbooks and his
visit to the Yasukuni Shrine in defiance of public criticism at home and
abroad.
��� The organizations announced that they would conduct a 10
million-signature campaign against his junket.

Leader of Thai Democratic Party on Korean issue
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Chuan Leekpai, leader of the Thai
Democratic Party, met the DPRK ambassador to Thailand on Oct. 4 on the
occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea. He said
that the world fully recognizes that President Kim Il Sung, founder of the
WPK, made great contributions to the Korean revolution and the development
of the world politics in his lifetime.
��� He said:
��� Leader Kim Jong Il has made tireless efforts for the well-being and
prosperity of the Korean people and the world revolution. he is an
experienced politician who deals well with political relations with
different countries.
��� I am pleased that the friendly relations between Thailand and the DPRK
have developed on good terms.
��� The June 15 North-South Joint Declaration is of weighty significance in
reunifying Korea and ensuring peace and stability on the Korean peninsula
and the Korean issue should be solved according to it.

Kim Jong Il sends vehicles to light industry factories
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il sent vehicles to the
Pyongyang Children Foodstuff Factory, the Kyongryon Aeguk Cider Factory and
the Kangso Mineral Water Processing Factory. This is an expression of his
belief and expectation that the factories will contribute to the material
and cultural life of the working people by bringing about a great
improvement in the production of foodstuff and drink.
��� A meeting for conveying the vehicles was held on Tuesday.

Swedish charge d'affaires ad interim hosts reception
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Swedish charge d'affaires ad interim
here hosted a reception at the embassy yesterday on the occasion of the 56th
anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea. Invited were Ji Jae Ryong, vice
department director of the central committee of the WPK, Choe Su Hon, vice
foreign minister, and officials concerned.
��� Diplomatic envoys of Germany and Great Britain were also invited.
��� Speeches were made at the reception.

Homage paid to President Kim Il Sung
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Senior party and state officials,
commanding officers of the Korean People's Army, servicemen of its three
services, anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters and people from all walks of
life today visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace to pay homage to President
Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Workers' Party of
Korea. A floral basket was placed before the statue of the president in the
joint name of the WPK Central Committee, the Central Military Commission of
the WPK, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the
Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the cabinet of the DPRK.
��� After paying respectful homage to the statue of the president, they
bowed in most profound reverence to him who lies in state for perpetuity.
��� They looked round orders and medals awarded to him by foreign countries,
the portrait of him with a sunny smile on his face and bronze relievos in
the mourner's hall and the train he used during his on-site guidance and
foreign visits and the car he used in the last period of his life.

Papers call for demonstrating invincible might of WPK
��� Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun today runs an editorial
captioned "Let us demonstrate the might of the party in the revolutionary
advance in the new century" and Minju Joson an editorial titled "Let us
dynamically speed up the socialist march of the red flag under the
leadership of the great party" on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of
the Workers' Party of Korea. Rodong Sinmun says:
��� President Kim Il Sung founded the party of Juche type, the first of its
kind in the history of a working class party building, 56 years ago. This is
the most brilliant one of the immortal exploits performed by him.
��� The WPK has adorned the arduous years of the revolution in the 20th
century with proud victories holding President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim
Jong Il in high esteem. It is confidently steering the 21st century with its
invincible might.
��� The party enjoys high dignity and authority as a party leading the new
century. It is entirely attributable to the fact that it has Kim Jong Il at
its head.

presentacion de la proposicion de la fundacion de la republica federal
democratica de koryo calificandola de la mas realista y razonable. dijo que
corea presenta como meta la reunificacion por el sistema federativo y anadio
que este es un medio fundamental que posibilita eliminar la desconfianza
entre el norte y el sur de corea y resolver, a base de la confianza mutua,
otros problemas complejos por los intereses de ambas partes.
