CITU Leader to participate in FNPR Congress at Moscow. The Fourth Congress of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR) is being held from the 28th to 30th November 2001 at Moscow. Com. Mikhail Shmakov, president, FNPR, while extending invitation to the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), expressed the confidence that participation of the CITU representative in the activities of the supreme trade union forum in Russia "will serve to a further development of friendly relation and mutual understanding between our trade union orgnisations". The CITU secretariat has nominated Com. W. R. Vardada Rajan, secretary, CITU to represent the CITU at the 4th Congress of the FNPR Com. Varada Rajan will leave for Moscow on 27th November, 2001 and return name on 5 December, 2001, after attending the FNPR Congress. eom |
