Summary: view history date field should be ISO standard
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: andyparkins gmail com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Right-click a contact and choose view history.

The panel on the left is a table containing the columns "Date" and "Contact".

The dates in this column are stored in the form "MM/DD/YY". This is bad anyway
because it's not in keeping with my KDE settings. However, it's made worse
because clicking the date column to sort sorts this alphabetically, not
chronologically. This effectively makes them sorted by month, day then year.

ISO8601 format dates would get around this problem, and would mean that no-one
would need to write a specialised sort function for the table :-)
