That's an idea but I find it really space consuming if the heders can't be hidden. Intead of the TabWidget, I thougth about a QToolBox (the original idea in the mockup), if if possible with the possibility to detach subpanel as QDockWidget. I really like the idea to detach subpanel of multiple tab widget as Dockable widget.
