Btw. reading system dpi is also a problem. Since some stupid programs (read
GNOME) change the system dpi to 96 rather than ignoring it. The bug has been
closed as WONTFIX in GNOME svn, and means we can never rely on the DPI reported
by X11 if the user runs GNOME applications.
