Funny.  I just installed FC3 under VMWare last night.  The whole
installation went flawlessly.  I haven't found any problems running it
so far, but of course I haven't stress-tested it or anything.

I chose "Red Hat" for the virtual machine type.  Surely, for VMWare's
purposes, there's not much difference between Red Hat and Fedora? 
Come to think of it, why does VMWare ask anyway?
