Ooh! That's my main bitch with vi. What .vimrc incantation do I do to map caps lock to esc? B Oh, and not to feed the flame, but just to give the perspective of someone who still pays the bills with Microsoft knowledge... Us folk in windoze land don't use editors to edit code. We use IDEs. What's lost in text-editing efficiency is regained with ctrl-space and context-driven intellisense. But I do concede that with enough uber-micro, and some strong tags-fu, vi could be more potent than, say, Visual Studio. I just don't have the uber-micro or enough vi-xptertise yet. That and I'm saddled with java coworkers that don't want to look at a world beyond Weblogic Workshop. I still couldn't live without breakpoints and step-through debugging. Don't know how you editor bigots survive without that. B (again) -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
