It's a long thread, someone must have mentioned http://freshrpms.net Their stuff has always worked well for me. On my powerbook I use dvdbackup to decrypt and copy DVDs to my HD so I can watch (then erase, honest) them later. Apple's DVD player can "play" the resulting directory structure as if it were the original DVD. I'd like to have a Linux player that can do that (not just play the raw files).
