I've given up coffee before, on the order of several weeks, and I
didn't feel any better.  I sometimes feel better (for an hour or two)
when I drink it, and I feel bad when I drink too much of it (more than
two cups in a day).  But I've never experienced effects either way
that lasted more than hours.  I usually drink a cup a day, even on
weekends.
