Yup. I first heard about WalMart's darker side with the stories about what they (apparently) do to crush unionization attempts. The closest thing I have to a hometown is Oak Harbor, Washington. WalMart moved in there a few years ago. Already, one grocery store has shut down (pity, as that was my favorite grocery store -- I felt like a customer there, instead of a consumer). I think the only grocery stores left in town are the chains... we'll see how the town changes in the next few years, I guess. -Stewart
