Two items: 1. I have an external usb hard disk drive I would like to format using linux. The drive has a fat32 system on it now and I would like to format it for linux and windows. I will bring a laptop and the drive to the meeting. 2. (O.T. maybe) I have a 1000 feet of Cat 5e cable I won on "The Price is Right" and I would like to test it from end to end. Can I put a RJ45 on each end and use "YOUR" tester (at the meeting) to test it. I don't have the connectors or the tester. I have always wanted to see a tester in action. Thanks.
