I figure about half the heiroglyphs in the pyramids are porn, we just don't know it yet.

Half of zero is still zero. There are no hieroglyphs in or on any of the Great Pyramids of Giza. In fact, the only writing of any kind is quarry marks [1].

"On the walls of the chambers, which were not meant to be seen or accessed, Vyse made the remarkable discovery of hieroglyphic graffiti, thought to have been left by pyramid workers during the pyramid's construction. Aside from this find, the Great Pyramid was, and remains to this day, completely devoid of original inscriptions or artwork."

Given that it's graffiti, it's almost surely pornographic (For a good time, call Cleopatra).

Of course this descibes the Vyse's clumsy encroachment in 1837 into the three uppermost chambers above the King's Chamber, starting with the lowest, "Wellington's Chamber" and upward.

The "grafitti" is red paint quarry marks left by the original stonecutters. The markings in the upper two chambers included cartouches. These cartouches form the only acheological basis for the the (mistaken) belief that the largest of the Great Pyramids was built by and for Khufu.

The short of it is, these cartouches were very likely forgeries done at the behest of Vyse by his shady associates (specifically, a Mr. Hill). The cartouches found are in a unique hieroglyphic dialect and artistic style never seen in Egyptology before or since their "discovery".

For a scholarly and compelling narrative see /The Stairway to Heaven/ by Zecharia Sitchen [ISBN 0-380-63339-6], pp258-282.
