I am very happy with my Time Warner RoadRunner conenctivity at home. 5Mbps is
plenty for home. Even if I only had dialup, I have all the fast connectivity I
need in my rack space at a local colo. It's not going to help if you wanted to
use graphical web browsing but you only need a dialup to shell into
your server
at a colo, for running your own mail server, IRC, web server, etc.... can't
beat having a server in a colo. :o)
<plug>Yup, I sell dedicate servers, colo and shared hosting at

If you can. I signed up with Speakeasy once. Two and a half months
later I gave up and went back to SBC. The whole two and a half months
Speakeasy tried and tried to get us DSL service (through SBC's lines),
but, mysteriously, there was always some problem.
And I'd like to note, for the record, that *I* would rather go without
Internet than give in to SBC, but my SO didn't share that feeling.
