The key word is _depend_, as in: if they cannot use a Disney character for free, then they will die as a result, or be unhappy for the rest of their life.
This is where my brother and I differ. Becoz I have a "day job", I can afford to run around saying that everything should be OpenSource and free to the people. He on the other hand, can't put food on the table unless he retains ownership of his copyrights and is able to negotiate terms.
