Meaning could you have two wireless internet cards for two separate laptops logged on concurrently? Or say one unit at home with the wireless card and another device connected via your cell on the road? Either way I've had the service for about 6 months, and while I've not tried it outside San Diego, it's been great the whole time. It WOULD be great if you could just leave your home connected all the time AND have wireless access ability on the road too, but I'm happy with being connected all the time, even with the wifi at the home. I DID however put a PC Card slot in one of my home machines, which I use to bridge the connection and load balance through my linux router. I haven't really done any analysis, I guess I did it more for the fun of it, but either way I've been very happy with the service. I can rarely tell there's any BW limitation save an occasion where I'm streaming music, downloading something, AND trying to browese the web at the same time. Oh yeah.....and I haven't scoped the contract, but for any plan that allows unlimited use I'm sure they don't let you have multiple endpoints. If it was priced on BW why not....but otherwise it doesn't make sense. Though it's still pretty sweet to be able to be working with a couple people and bridge a connection via WiFi AND ethernet for a 3 man mobile office, and I suppose you could use bluetooth too, but I've never needed to provide internet for more than 2 people. -Tom -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
