I didn't think there was any such thing. But somebody is selling them
on eBay for $3.99 + $10 shipping. PCMCIA to 44-pin notebook hard
drive. What do you have to lose, besides $14?
IDE is very cable-length limited and is not hot-pluggable.. Why not
get a USB2 enclosure for your 2.5" hard drive, and if necessary get a
PCMCIA or Cardbus USB adapter.
