Where does one learn to use phrases like "vertical apps"? Where does this phrase come from? Does the box sit vertically on your shelf? Are the bits aligned vertically on your hd? No. So where does being vertical come into it? Is this really a legitimate descriptive phrase describing a particular class of software? Why don't we just say "industry specific"? That is a whole lot more descriptive. I have a feeling I don't read the right PHB magazines so I have fallen way behind in buzzword bingo.
