No, the ones who do not need it still do not "need" it. Those who need it (and those who *will* need it) are the ones who need everyone else to use it (even though they do not "need" it).

You are completely missing the point. Everyone needs it so we will be
ready for the day when everyone needs it.

First they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - because I was
not a Jew.

Then they came for the communists, and I did not speak out - because I
was not a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out -
because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for me - and their was no one left to speak for me.

Use the correct order and attribute it, please,

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me--
    and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Rev. Martin Niemoller

Also, I would point out that there is a *lot* of disagreement as to what the correct order is, but this one seems to be closest to historical accuracy as well. Niemoller, a Protestant, especially didn't care about the Catholics. He pointed out rather caustically that the Catholics took care of themselves in Nazi Germany.
