Yes. I am sure. The shared video is set to 1MB, becuase like your machine, these
are headless. The thing is that the stock kernel in Sarge after an install
doesn't have the "highmem" turned on in teh kernel. I want to put an "official"
kernel package that has highmem turned on. The kernel should be able to be
installed with apt-get.

Are you sure it's not that the RAM is being shared with your video card?
I have 1GiB of RAM, but my VC uses 128MiB of RAM, leaving me with 896 MiB RAM

Though I wouldn't mind changing that myself, coz this is a headless server, but it came with the gutless VC already....
