I'd love "sexy", but I'd settle for "not having enormous tangles of
extra cable bunched and knotted up on the floor of the cabinet" :-)

Keep the (female) end that attaches to the equipment.  Cut off the
other end to length and attach a 3-wire standard male plug, available
at your nearest Home Depot or equivalent.  This has got to be the
simplest solution, because one end of the power cable is already made
up for you, and you don't have to buy anything exotic.
