From: Lan Barnes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <earlier reply extended> ... but I do like Perforce. Of course, Perforce is a sports car. Fast, sleek, and tricky to handle. By the time Perforce is scripted out into an enterprise tool, its performance falls off and the development/maintenance time to make it so probably is costing us more than it would have just to go to Dimensions.
My pet peeve wth preforce- if I check changes A, B, and C into file Foo and want to remove all 3, how do I do it simply and easily? The only way I've found (or that our SCM team knew) was to create a new branch at the old CLN, then integrate the 2 branches. Way too much work for a semi-common requirement.
