Contrary to the Ubuntu docs, and even the online help of the live CD, something that *really* pisses me off. But as it turns out, their rescue mode sucks. The Fedora 5 DVD works a lot better as a rescue disc. However, I'm still using Ubuntu because of their intelligent choice of fonts on the desktop. If I could get that under Fedora, I'd switch back. I also had problems with the xorg build on FC4 and 5: X would often go off into some kind of never-never land on startup, taking the whole console with it, necessitating a tap on the power button (thankfully that does a graceful shutdown these days).
