No kidding. Freedom is entirely overrated!
Besides, it doesn't work with Xen. Nvidia says so. Maybe it will in the
future.
It *DOES* work with the Xen dom0 kernel. I'm running a dom0 kernel on a box
at work using the Nvidia driver in Twinview mode:
{warrior02:jon}: uname -a
Linux warrior02 2.6.16-1.2096_FC5xen0 #1 SMP Wed Apr 19 05:49:52 EDT 2006
i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
{warrior02:jon}: cat /proc/modules |grep -i nvidia
nvidia 4551796 8 - Live 0xf4f29000
{warrior02:jon}: grep -i nvidia /etc/X11/xorg.conf
ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia"
Driver "nvidia"
VendorName "Nvidia"
{warrior02:jon}: grep -i twin /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Option "TwinView"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "LeftOf"

Of course, the domU kernels don't work (directly) with the nvidia driver.
Not sure if anyone has had any success with video for domU though. What's
the word there?
