I always remembered 3=4 and 4=3 And of course 1 and 3 go together, like 2 and 4. As for the IDE question... maybe they wanted 2, even though it's been a looooong time since I've seen a board that didn't have two connectors. You just never know about these tests. One of the questions I missed was "What is the proper IP address for a Class B non-Internet-connected computer?" There were three odd choices and one was 172.something I chose 172 (yes, I know the allocation is actually a /12, but what can you do?) and it said I was wrong.
