I recall it being DMA 1, IRQ 7, and port 220h Sound Blaster 16 needed two DMAs, maybe that's what you are thinking of?

I remember hacking fossil drivers to get LORD to run right. heh.
Oh man, I forgot about those =] I ran TRIbbs to begin with and didn't need it. But when I switched to Renegade software and added door games, had to get that fossil driver working.
