And they are actually functional and working? How much RAM/HD? Can they
PXE boot? Are monitors/keyboard/mouse included or no?

ah, sorry - yes, fully functional. the systems will be available
because everyone is getting newer systems. They're the systems
everyone is currently using.

I will have to ask about keyboard/mouse/monitors. Generally a
keyboard and mouse comes with a new PC, so if the replacements are
coming with them...

ask. They are sensitive about taking any old used computer though
because if it cannot function as a reasonable Linux desktop (reasonable
meaning able to run OpenOffice and Firefox) or at least as an LTSP
client they would only be a liability to them just as the machines are a
liability to your own company. I'll run this by them and see if they are
interested.

well, everyone's using them now with windows 2000, office 2000, virus
scanners, etc. I've got 2 myself; one is running win for outlook use,
the other is my actual workstation. The systems aren't in a junk pile
in a back storage room somewhere, they're actually in use
currently...soon to be replaced.
