Graybar has rolls of velcro for this purpose. I paid about $15 for a

Black Box has boxes of Velcro cable wraps. They seem overpriced... 100
black ones is $100, and an assortment of 100 colored ones is $80, so
$.80-$1 each But they're 1,000,000 times better than zip ties.

There's really no need to go somewhere exotic for rolls of Velcro wire
ties (slotted, BTW, so they don't fall off the cable when undone) when a
Home Depot is nearby. I don't know what I paid, but the convenience was
more than worth whatever the package price was (in fact I bought two
rolls -one black, and one gray).
