The laptop wireless fixed itself when I removed the eth0 profile. Because
of the way I initialize the laptop wireless driver (rc.local -- OK, I was
being lazy), the OS becomes confused if a proper initialization of eth0
has already happened, even in the absence of a live cat 5.

But the Myth box and prism card are still foobar ...
