I was only using WEP because (1) it is in the router's menu (2) I'm lazy. My understanding is that it's really weak security, just enough to keep accidental connections by your neighbors from confusing them/you. UNLESS (bulb goes on) you are talking about putting the ssh hole on the Myth box, not the firewall. But then the wireless is still open for all the world without WEP or something else like it.
