On occasion it will complain about expunging folders or something
related to the Exchange server, but the Exchange server is the one that
it actually retrieves mail from at a decent speed. (Although there's
hardly ever very much mail on it. If it had more mail, maybe it would be
slow too.)

I do have several mail folders and a filter for each, but nothing
compared to what I have in TB and Mozilla.

No virus scanners on either POP server and nothing local.
