How do you all keep track of passwords?
I've used Password Safe and the like but I don't like keeping the keys
to the kingdom on a hard disk that could possibly wind up compromised
someday.
The best idea I've come up with lately is a file saved on a usb drive,
stored along with a hard copy in a safe.
The usernames & passwords I'd like to save are login passwords for
various machines at work and home, ecommerce sites, paypal, online
banking, medical services, etc.
My main goal is to cover the situation where something happens to me and
someone (co-workers & my wife) has to step in and keep things going.
