I don't know about the other repositories, but:

deb http://mirror.ubuntulinux.nl edgy-seveas all

is a great repository, I've talked to Seveas online multiple times.
The good thing about hosting in .nl, I believe is Seveas can host
firmware blobs (bcm43xx, etc) in .deb form so users can easily
"apt-get" install their firmware for their card, as compiling a
firmware extractor, extracting firmware from the driver, and putting
it in the correct location may be a bit too much for first time users.
The hosting in .nl might possibly also account for the distrobution of
proprietary codecs that are needed to make a fully functioning linux
desktop.

Seems to me that this has to be read carefully, especially since most
of the favorite sites are in the Netherlands (.nl). Many of these
add-ons seem to be present in the "Ultimate Ubuntu" DVD that I
brought to the Bookstore InstallFest last Saturday. I didn't know
that until yesterday, when I got around to reading the blurb on the
Ultimate web site.
