Incoming mail, and the message "Draft autosaved", are timestamped with
a time that is an hour earlier than the current PDT.  A quick tour
through Gmail Help Discussion Forum shows that this is not the first
time that they have had a problem like this.


Followup.  After a fair amount of browsing in Gmail Help, I found that
the solution is to clear the browser cache.  Why, I don't know.  But
it worked.  Both for Firefox and Opera.
